Ya Sin (Ya Sin)
Verses 41-44 GROUP_1152 36.41-44
41
وَآيَةٌ لَّهُمْ أَنَّا حَمَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ فِي الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُونِ
Another sign for them is that We carried their offspring in the laden Ark.
42
وَخَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّن مِّثْلِهِ مَا يَرْكَبُونَ
We have created for them the like of it in which they ride.
43
وَإِن نَّشَأْ نُغْرِقْهُمْ فَلَا صَرِيخَ لَهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنقَذُونَ
If it were Our will, We could drown them: then there would be no helper [to hear their cry], nor could they be saved.
44
إِلَّا رَحْمَةً مِّنَّا وَمَتَاعًا إِلَى حِينٍ
It is only by Our mercy that they are granted provision for a time.

Commentary
(b) God has created vast possibilities in this world, so that man may travel by land, sea and air. All these forms of travel are possible due to the grace of God and if man consciously reflected, he would prostrate himself before God and never develop an attitude of arrogance.
